Role: UX & UI Designer, Art Director
Deliverables: Research, User Experience, User Interface, Visual Design & Prototyping
Effective time management is critical for business travelers to successfully manage their work agendas, especially considering the limited time available to prepare for work trips. Often, travelers focus solely on their business goals, neglecting to prioritize their travel experience. Unfortunately, there is often insufficient time to research information about the destination, transportation options, local customs and etiquette, and dining recommendations.
The project started with user experience research to gather a deeper understanding of business travelers before traveling and during traveling, specifically for work. My design research plan included questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, auto-ethnographies, competitive analysis, and usability & testing.
Product Mindmap→The purpose of this analysis is to define the competition, an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors. Any app that is providing service regarding traveling, especially for business people was a subject of study. Services people are currently using to plan an itinerary or book a flight, and search for information about their upcoming trip.
Synthesizing results from all of the earlier tests and research methods; a high-fidelity prototype is design as a mobile application. Following the design principles established in the research phase, the prototype highlights user personalization, an intuitive menu hierarchy, easy-to-use search functions, self-evident, and clean design.
With 'Simple' as a core value, we focus on clarity and ease of use, creating intuitive interfaces and straightforward interactions for effortless user experiences.
From colors to typography, we ensure every detail reflects our commitment to building trust and familiarity for your users.
At the core of our design, every element, every interaction, is crafted with purpose to evoke emotion and resonate with our users.
Including human-centered design and a well-planned design research phase, it is possible to achieve a usable and sustainable product that satisfies both the user and the designer. After all, building a deep empathy with people, ideating, developing prototypes, and sharing process is all part of problem-solving and innovation.
